Location Data
For driver accounts, FretExpo may collect precise location data, including background location data.
Location data is collected only when the driver manually activates the “Start Tracking” button in the application.
2. Use of Data
The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- User authentication and account management
- Shipment and delivery tracking
- Driving time calculation
- Break time management
- Loading and unloading operation tracking
- Improving application quality and performance
- Technical support
Background location collection is strictly limited to these professional and operational purposes.
3. Stopping Location Tracking
Location tracking stops immediately when the driver:
- Taps the “End Service / Stop Tracking” button in the application, or
- Revokes location permission from the device settings
The user maintains full control over location tracking at all times.
4. Data Sharing
FretExpo does not sell or rent any personal data.
Data may be shared only with:
- Managers or transport companies linked to the user’s account
No location data is shared for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on secure servers compliant with international standards (GDPR / ISO 27001).
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including:
- Data encryption in transit (HTTPS, SSL)
- Restricted and authenticated access
- Regular data backups
6. Data and Account Deletion
Users may:
- Delete their account directly from the application, or
- Request data deletion by email
